Quality and testing

How ViriFlow is made and tested

Quality is the process; verification is the result. This page explains how ViriFlow is manufactured and screened, and the verification page shows the outcome for the lot now shipping.

Made in an FDA-registered, GMP-certified facility

ViriFlow is manufactured in the United States in a facility that is registered with the FDA and operates under current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). In practice that means documented procedures, controlled environments, batch records and a quality team that signs off on every production run before it can be released.

Independent, third-party testing

Beyond in-house checks, every finished lot is sent to Norfield Bioscience Laboratories, an independent laboratory accredited to ISO/IEC 17025. We use an outside lab on purpose: a result means more when the company selling the product is not the one grading its own work. The current cycle is documented under certificate NFB-COA-26-7715.

What each lot is screened for

  • Botanical identity by HPLC fingerprinting, to confirm each extract is what the label says.
  • Active potency, to verify the blend meets its per-serving targets.
  • Heavy metals by ICP-MS, screened to < 0.4 ppm, important for marine ingredients like kelp and bladderwrack.
  • Microbiology, tested within USP <2021> limits for total counts, yeast, mold and pathogens.
  • Pesticide and solvent residue, screened against accepted thresholds.

Sourcing the marine botanicals

Seaweed concentrates minerals from the water it grows in, which is part of why it is valuable and also why sourcing matters. The nori, wakame, kelp and bladderwrack in ViriFlow come from suppliers who provide certificates of identity and contaminant screening before the raw material is accepted. The prostate herbs, saw palmetto and pygeum, are selected for standardized extract quality rather than lowest cost.

Allergens and formulation

ViriFlow is non-GMO, gluten-free and free of added stimulants. The base is purified water and vegetable glycerin, making it vegetarian-friendly. As with any supplement, check the full ingredient list on the formula page if you have allergies, and speak to a healthcare provider about the iodine content if you have a thyroid condition.
